Backyard Brains, a cutting-edge neuroscience education technology company with 10 TED talks and a book from MIT Press, is seeking an experienced Executive Project Manager to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. This role will involve working closely with the CEO to manage multiple projects, streamline operations, and ensure the company's continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the CEO to manage multiple projects across different areas including research, education, and product development
- Coordinate efforts between engineering, software, and education teams to drive progress and achieve company objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Develop and maintain budgets, ensuring financial accountability across projects
- Help to build and maintain a positive company culture and work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the education or technology sector
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt and switch gears quickly to address new challenges
Salary:
Competitive salary based on experience, in the range of $50,000 - $90,000.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to grow our customer base and increase revenue.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and develop targeted campaigns.
- Manage and optimize our online presence, including website content, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the product development and education teams to create promotional materials and product presentations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics to adjust strategies as needed.

Requirements:
